Frequently Asked Questions

This is not a comprehensive list of all the frequently asked questions that you may have in relation to how Accident Management Services in the UK work. If you wish to find out more fill in the form below and we will put you in contact with an Accident Management service provider in your area who will provide a  specialist who will be only too happy to help walk you through the process.

How Quickly can I receive a replacement vehicle?

If you vehicle is off road and you have all the necessary paperwork most Accident Management service providers can give you a car the same day and if not then within 24 hours. If you car is driveable then you may need to wait until your vehicle has been assessed by an engineer, as there can sometimes be unseen damage that could make the car un-roadworthy and invalidate your insurance, before most Accident Management service providers can offer a replacement car. If you can get the quote to them soon as possible then this will help speed things up.

How Much does it cost me?

As long as you are not at fault and you have been honest with the Accident Management service provider throughout the process then there is absolutely no charge to yourself.

What Kind of Vehicle will I receive

Most Accident Management service providers will place you back into a similar size vehicle to the one that you are currently driving. Thus if you are driving a BMW they will not provide you with a Nissan Micra, they will provide you with a suitable replacement vehicle for ‘your’ needs, not a small car to save the at fault insurers money.

Personal Injury

If you have been involved in the accident then please ask our about our free, no obligation consultation with one of our panel of experts who will advise you what you may be able to claim in relation to your injury. This is at no expense to yourself and they will help recoup any losses you may have incurred.

Do I have to provide so much paperwork?

The insurance companies would prefer most Accident Management service providers did not exist and so try to tie them up in paperwork.  However the good news is that most Accident Management service providers will do all the paperwork and contact with your insurance company for you.  Realistically though it should only take you 5 minutes to provide the Accident Management service providers with the appropriate information  which means that you can have a free replacement vehicle as soon as possible with often one phone call.

Cancelling the Process:

At any time you can cancel an agreement with the Accident Management service providers. If for example you have already been given a replacement vehicle then you may be charged for this time if the Accident Management service providers are unable to recover it off the at-fault insurance company.

Data Protection:

Accident Management UK will share your information only with Accident Management service providers, who may in turn contact the other party, their insurance company and your insurance company.  If they find your claim to be fraudulent at a later date then they will have to charge you.
